The Practical Joke colt worked a comfortable 4 furlongs in :49.77 in company for trainer Chad Brown, showing good energy and returning to routine smoothly.
Potential next targets remain under consideration, with the $750,000 Wood Memorial (G2) on April 4 at Aqueduct—run at 1 1/8 miles—still a leading option. Following this weekend’s work, our management team expects to have more clarity on the path forward.
