Also Eligible 8/15 – King’s Plate at Woodbine

Canada starts their Triple Crown this afternoon, and we take a look at the first leg today at Woodbine. A field of 12 horses will go a mile and a quarter on the main polytrack in the King’s Plate, which runs as race 10 of a 13 race card.

We will also look at the two races prior to the main event today. Race 8 is Grade 2 Canadian Stakes. Fillies and mares will go a mile and a sixteenth on the inner turf course.

Also on the docket will be the Catch A Glimse Stakes as juvenile fillies will go six and a half furlongs on the newly renovated E.P. Taylor (or outer) turf course.
