Also Eligible 8/22 – Pacific Classic Day at Del Mar

This week we go to “Where the Turf Meets the Surf” for Pacific Classic day. We will take a look at the four stakes races on the card today.

We are featuring race 5 which is the Green Flash Handicap. A field of 10 is entered to sprint 5 furlongs on the grass with an entry in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint on the line.

Our main event is the Pacific Claissic which is race 10 on the 11-race card. A field of 11 will go the classic distance of a mile and a quarter with a Breeders’ Cup Classic invite on the line.

We’ll also look at the Del Mar Oaks which is a Grade 1 race on the grass. We’ll end with the the Del Mar Mile, a Grade 2 race on the grass.
