Impractical Puts In First 4F Keeneland Work

Saturday morning at Keeneland Race Course, Impractical recorded his first published work since shipping in for trainer Whit Beckman. The son of Practical Joke breezed an easy 4 furlongs in :49.40 over the dirt. This was a solid first step following his encouraging third-place finish on March 21 in a 6-furlong Maiden Special Weight at Fair Grounds Race Course. He appears to have settled in well to his new surroundings and continues to look and feel terrific in his training. The current plan is to target a start toward the latter part of the Keeneland Spring Meet, which should give him additional time to continue progressing off that positive effort. As race plans come into sharper focus, we’ll share more details and upcoming race-day information.
