Keepsake Box Returns to Tab–Next Race Plans

Sunday morning at Palm Meadows Training Center, Keepsake Box (inside) logged a 4-furlong maintenance breeze over the dirt, her first published work since her March 21 start. She worked in company with Langvad, a stakes-placed son of Awesome Slew. This was exactly the kind of easy maintenance move you want to see between races—just enough to keep her sharp, maintain fitness, and have her on edge for the next start without asking for too much. Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. is currently pointing Keepsake Box toward a Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, April 25, where she should get another opportunity over what we believe is her preferred surface.
