After a winner at Parx, we head out to the desert and Turf Paradise for today’s race of the day. We are looking at race seven on an eight-race card. A field of seven horses will go one mile on the turf course this afternoon.
Turf Paradise Race 7 – Allowance
Favored in our feature race this afternoon is the 5 Benandonner (3/1 morning line). He made a late wide move last month on the grass here closing to finish third last month here at Turf Paradise. He was further back last time out but that was the result of another horse gunning for the lead. Look for the favorite to be closer to the pace this afternoon.
The 1 Logical Myth (4/1 ML) made a wide move and closed to win an optional claiming race here about a month ago. He has run well on both turf and dirt since the Turf Paradise meet began, and this 10-year-old is still winning races. Look for a late move again today.
The 4 Found My Ball (7/2 ML) won an optional claiming race here last month in his first race after a three-month layoff. He looked like he had some traffic issues on the final turn but he did end up showing his class in that race and drew off to win. With a shorter field here today, he could do the same thing here this afternoon.;
The 3 Eye On Ry (9/2 ML) finished fourth in the Cotton Fitzsimmons Handicap last month. He ran a good race but was a victim of the winner drawing off and winning by a big margin. He will fit in this field here this afternoon.

We do have a horse that can set some fractions early, but he is only running on the turf for the second time in his career and for the first time in over a year. I think it’s safe to say this could turn to be a mad dash to the finish.
I will go with Found My Ball here today. He does appear to have some slight traffic trouble and did not affect him too much last time out. If he can get a completely clean trip, he could win big here. I think that will be the case here this afternoon.
